Continue playing a role outside of the theatre!

If you’re a parent of a kindergartner to 8th grader, or if you’re a freshman in high school to a 20-year-old, Hendricks Civic Theatre (HCT) has two opportunities for you to explore the arts through our scholarship program. Awarding up to $500 for continued arts education.

First division includes Kindergarten through 8th grade as of September 30, 2024. Second division includes high school freshmen through age 20 as of September 30, 2024. Deadline to apply is November 15, 2024.

First division: Kindergarten through 8th grade as of September 30, 2024
Second division: High School freshman through age 20 as of September 30, 2024
Anyone who has participated (e.g., acted, stage crew, volunteering) with an HCT production in the past 2023/2024 season. The shows include:
1. While the Lights Were Out
2. Kris Kringle
3. The Little Mermaid
4. Harvey
5. A Few Good Men
6. Sound of Music
A 200-400 word essay with how the scholarship will be used and how it will impact the applicant
A recommendation letter from an HCT board member or a member of the production team from the HCT show the applicant participated in.
